Kristeen T. Heghinian, PT, DPT

Kristeen Heghinian received her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Florida International University in 2011, after obtaining her Bachelor’s in Health Sciences at University of Florida. She has been a practicing clinician for 7 years. Initially working with orthopedic patients within the outpatient private setting in New York City, she returned to Florida to begin her more versatile career with the Memorial Hospital System in Outpatient Rehab. Currently, Kristeen treats pediatric, vestibular, all ages of orthopedic patients and adolescent athletes post concussion. She has received her vestibular training from Emory University, via the APTA Vestibular Rehabilitation Competency Course. Since starting on the Memorial Concussion team, she has been able to further grow her treatment skills to cater the concussed athlete. She believes that a well rounded individual with strong and stable proximal musculature in addition to excellent body awareness makes for a more safe and superior athlete.
