Dr. Michael Dressing is a pediatric sports medicine specialist at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame before earning his medical degree at Wright State University. Dr. Dressing then completed his pediatric residency at the University of South Florida and is currently a board-certified pediatrician. Subsequently, he completed a sports medicine fellowship at Orlando Health. Currently he cares for children, adolescents and teenagers with sports medicine injuries and needs. This includes sports injuries, pediatric orthopedics, fracture care, overuse injuries, and concussion management.

Along with seeing patients in clinic, Dr. Dressing enjoys taking care of athletes on the sidelines at sporting events as well. He has previously been a team physician for the Orlando City Soccer Club, Orlando Apollos, Orlando Pride, Orlando SeaWolves, Orlando City B Soccer Club, and Florida FireFrogs among others. He has also worked at multiple PGA and LPGA golf tournaments. Currently he is working with local high school football teams, the Washington Nationals, and the USA Olympic Beach Soccer Team.

Dr. Dressing has participated in several global health missions in Panama, Peru, Jamaica, and Honduras. He is also actively involved in clinical research projects focusing on pediatric concussions, and injuries in professional female soccer players in the National Women’s Soccer League.
