Rodrigo Almada is from Buenos Aires, Argentina. After playing soccer in Argentina’s lower youth divisions, he received his Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training from the University of Central Florida. He completed his Master’s degree from Escuela Real Madrid-Universidad Europea of Spain in Sports Training and Nutrition while in Spain Rodrigo worked with the third division first team Puerta Bonita and first division Getafe C.F. under-17 squad.
Rodrigo joined Miami FC as an Athletic Trainer in 2016 working along Italian legend Alessandro Nesta and treating some of the top soccer players of South Florida with Miami FC. Rodrigo specialized in return to play for injured players. Since 2017 he’s the athtletic trainer for the Brazilian national team of MiniFootball for main competitions and events and currently works with Weston FC Academy thanks to the partnership between the club and Joe DiMaggio’s Children’s Hospital.
