Rebecca Martinez is the Head Athletic Trainer for Western High School located in Davie, Fl. Her passion for athletic training began in high school where she had the opportunity to become an athletic training student aid. She attend Florida International University where she obtained both a Bachelor’s of Science in Physical Education: Sports and Fitness in 2016 and a Master’s of Science in Athletic Training in 2018. During her time at FIU she completed a series of clinical rotations including Monsignor Edward Pace High School, Hommen Orthopedic Institute, FIU Softball, FIU Football, and FIU Track and Field. Her clinical experiences allowed her the opportunity to care for a variety of individuals ranging from high school students to Division 1 and professional athletes.  She is a proud member of the National Athletic Trainers Association (NATA) and she is a Florida licensed (LAT) as well as a Board Certified Athletic Trainer (BOC ATC).
