Kristin Dean was born and raised in Dania Beach, Florida, where she went to Stranahan High School in Fort Lauderdale and later to Nova Southeastern University. At NSU she pursued her degree in Athletic Training with a minor in sociology. She is now the head athletic trainer at Boyd H. Anderson high School in Lauderdale Lakes.
