Andrea Pena is a double Gator having graduated from the University of Florida in 2016 with a Bachelor’s of Science in Applied Physiology and Kinesiology and then again in 2019 with her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. During her time at UF, she gained a wide range of exposure to different physical therapy settings, however, is thrilled to have found and joined the [U18] Sports Medicine team. She gained a special interest in adolescent sports medicine during one of her internships and enjoys being able to relate to her patients as a previous young athlete herself. She is eager to continue learning as a clinician, staying on top of the current research, and helping her patients reach their goals. She additionally grew up in the Wellington area and is excited to give back to her hometown and surrounding communities.
