Laura Adams graduated from Hope College in 2009 with a degree in Exercise Science. She then attended University of Florida where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy in 2012. Laura’s goal was to work with young athletes and she was happy to join the [U18] Sports Medicine team after graduation in 2012. In June 2016, she received a board certification in sports medicine (SCS) through the APTA . Laura has been involved with various sports including cheerleading throughout college and graduate school. Her experience in athletics has fueled her passion for sports medicine and helps her to relate to the young athletes she treats. Laura is also a therapist for Joe DiMaggio’s Pediatric Rehabilitation Services.
