Ginette Menendez is a Head Athletic Trainer for U18 Sports Medicine at Everglades High School. She developed an interest in athletic training during high school which has since grown into a passion that she cherishes. Ginette studied Athletic Training at University of Delaware where she received her Bachelor’s degree, then went on to receive her Master’s in Post-Professional Athletic Training Education at Florida International University. She is beyond grateful for the opportunities she has received as part of the Memorial Hospital System. Ginette is also a teacher at Everglades High School, and has started a Sports Medicine program. Through this program she is able to educate her students on the human body and sport related injuries. These same students will volunteer their time to work with Ginette and the sports teams at Everglades High School.
