Derek Rivera is an Athletic Trainer for [U18] Sports Medicine. Derek is from Camden, New Jersey. He played baseball throughout his whole childhood all the way up to high school. This is where he began his interest in Athletic Training. Derek received a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training at the University of Delaware. He continued his education at Florida International University where he received Masters of Science in Athletic Training. Derek has works at Hallandale High School as the Head Athletic Trainer entering his 9th year. Derek’s sports medicine interest includes rehabilitation of ACL injuries high school athletes.
