The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at Joe DiMaggio Children’s Hospital, located in Hollywood, Florida, is the largest group of fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons in South Florida. It was founded in 1989 by Michael Jofe, MD. Over the years, we have grown to include 6 fellowship-trained pediatric orthopaedic surgeons and a support staff of 31 dedicated professionals who work as a team to provide premier pediatric orthopaedic medical treatment and compassionate medical care for children from the southeastern United States and beyond, as well as the Caribbean and South America.
